Aleshea Harris' Is God Is is one of the most memorable plays I've encountered in years, one that I hope will have a long life once theater comes back full force. The Wilma Theater in Philadelphia was planning to do a full production this past spring, closed of course by COVID. Instead, they've released an audio version that streams through Sunday and is available by donation (minimum $10). I listened yesterday and was surprised by how well the play translated to a non-visual medium. The acting is superb across the board.
